The Old Gods Are Fading

A couple of summers ago many of the ancient Greek mythological gods were painted on the Danforth sidewalks in Toronto’s Greektown. After a few years they have started to fade.

Apollo’s six-pack
Apollo eager to pluck you
the sun sceptre
Dionysius in the bike lane
Hephaestus
Artemis on the move
Hestia working her corner
Hermes without a scarf
